Hello!
I'm Serena

FREELANCE TRANSLATOR ENGLISH/SPANISH > ITALIAN
MY CURRICULUM
About me

¡Hola! My name is Serena and I work as a freelance translator from English/Spanish into Italian. I specialize in the translation of patents, tourism, and marketing/IT texts.
As I finished high school, I knew exactly what I wanted to be: a translator! I moved to Bari and took a degree in “Linguistic communication and mediation”, during which I was able to improve my English and learn Spanish and Russian. After that, I moved to Genoa to attend the degree course in “Translation and Interpretation”. Thanks to the Erasmus Programme, I spent one year in Oviedo, where I fell even more in love with beautiful Spain.
Soon after taking my second degree, I wanted to see firsthand how a translation agency works. That is why I moved to Stirling, Scotland, where I interned as a project manager and a translator in a big translation agency. Once my internship was over, I realized that nothing compares to working as a freelancer. I am a serial planner, so I love being able to organize my time and schedule according to my plans. Now I have been working as a freelance translator since 2015 and, despite the ups and downs of this career, I wouldn’t change my job for the world!
If you need more information, check out my CV and feel free to send me an e-mail by clicking on the “Contact me” button. Cheers!
